China crypto currency regulation status
Current Regulatory stands:
- Mining (Hostile)
- centralized exchanges (Hostile)
- ICO (Hostile)
- P2P bitcoin trading (permissive)
China was the biggest Bitcoin market since the start of bitcoin in 2009. Although rumours spread constantly of a regulatory crackdown on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, in the middle of 2017 these rumours became fact. First ICO`s were forbidden, within 3 months Centralized exchanges were regulated and went offline and Mining operations became illegal. Peer 2 peer bitcoin trading is still happening a lot but with the crackdown any transparency of trading volumes has vanished.
